Effect of Thiram on the Bacteria-Pea (Pisum sativum) Symbiotic Complex

چکیده
Background: Algerian agriculture, like many developing countries, has developed production systems based on the use of phytosanitary products. But today, these products is called into question, with awareness risks they can generate for environment, and even human health. Methods: A trial was conducted in greenhouse two varieties pea (Pisum sativum), without thiram treatment (recommended dose), to estimate effect latter establishment symbiosis biological nitrogen fixation. In addition, a rhizospheric soil microflora count carried out determine assess bacterial concentration including PGPRs each sample from tested treatment. Result: The fungicide variety choice have no number nodules fresh dry weight aerial root parts, low nodulation be attributed population native rhizobia soil. observed region Gros Vert treated compared untreated control Onward variety; this result may due influencing abundance differential response between cultivars same species.

Role of nitrogen content of pea (Pisum sativum L.) on pea aphid (Acyrthosiphon pisum Harris) establishment
The leaf nitrogen content is generally accepted as an indicator of food quality and as a factor affecting host selection by phytophagous insects. The alate pea aphids (Acyrthosiphon pisum Harris, Aphididae) were given a choice among non-nodulated pea plants (Pisum sativum L.) supplied with one of four nitrate-N levels (0, 3, 15 and 30 mM). When whole plants were exposed to aphids for 7 days, th...
متن کاملPea, Pisum sativum, and Its Anticancer Activity
Pisum sativum (Family: Fabaceae), as known as green pea or garden pea, has long been important in diet due to its content of fiber, protein, starch, trace elements, and many phytochemical substances. It has been shown to possess antibacterial, antidiabetic, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, antihypercholesterolemia, and antioxidant activities and also shown anticancer property. Its nonnutritive bi...
متن کاملPolyadenylate-Binding Protein from Pea (Pisum sativum)'
A polyadenylate-binding protein (PABP) was purified from cellfree extracts prepared from pea seedlings (Pisum sativum) by ammonium sulfate precipitation and Affi-Gel Blue and polyadenylate-Sepharose 4B affinity chromatography. The final preparation from polyadenylate-Sepharose 4B columns contained a single 70-kilodalton polypeptide with high polyadenylate-binding activity. The purified protein ...
متن کاملPea (Pisum sativum L.) Growth Mutants
This review is devoted to the Pisum sativum L. growth mutants. These mutants are presented by several groups of plants. The first group is characterized by short internodes (dwarf mutants le, na, lk, la, lh, ls) or by elongated internodes (slender mutant sln). The stem growth of mutants of both types (dwarf and slender) is controlled by hormones (GA and IAA) in the stem or in seeds. Mutants cha...
متن کاملSymbiotic Activity of Pea (Pisum sativum) after Application of Nod Factors under Field Conditions
Growth and symbiotic activity of legumes are mediated by Nod factors (LCO, lipo-chitooligosaccharides). To assess the effects of application of Nod factors on symbiotic activity and yield of pea, a two-year field experiment was conducted on a Haplic Luvisol developed from loess. Nod factors were isolated from Rhizobium leguminosarum bv. viciae strain GR09. Pea seeds were treated with the Nod fa...
